It’s been about a month now since I added the link of Sattellite Tv to the Digital Tv Blog on this post and the results came in rather quickly and have remained unchanged.
MSN: picked this up within 48 hours and also updated their cache of the page in the same time. I now rank no1 for Sattellite Tv on MSN.
Google: also picked this link up pretty quickly but haven’t updated the “page title tag” in their cache for this page, this is probably because I haven’t added any posts in this category since then. I currently rank no19 in google for this phrase.
UPDATE 20/9/07: no3 for this phrase since google have updated their cache with the new title tags.
Yahoo: I don’t know where I am in yahoo and to be honest I don’t understand how to rank in yahoo!
So there we have it I now rank top in MSN and second page in google for an uncompetitive search term that probably won’t bring much traffic! Easy to do I know!
There is a moral here though; put out a variation of anchor text links back to your sites - think obscure, think searcher. Too many times I’ve seen people concentrate on one anchor text to their site but neglect smaller and simpler searches.

1Yahoo, usually take a little longer to rank new sites, don’t worry too much about it you’ll get there eventually. Optimise for Google and the others normally follow.

2Yes I do optimize for misspellings and it shows on my stats and I am ranking quite well because of it my pr just jumped to 3 and everything is heading upwords. Also misspelled domain names work quite well.
Thanks

3Normally, not intentionally. However, when I have accidentally misspelled words and my spell checker didn’t catch it, I have noticed an increase on those words.
convertable - convertible is a good example. You’d be surprised how often that gets misspelled. However adding misspelled words in you content ruins your credibility.

4hey optimize for misspellings are must, but until its not done correctly, its called indirect marketing,
one thing i would say that, SEO must be done in very straight and good way, coz with doing correct SEO, it helps to get search engine visibility in major SEARCH ENGINES like . YAHOO, GOOGLE, MSN..and major search engines visibility is must for to get better rankings for any website coz 90% quality hits and leads generate from search engines.
I found this SEO company is highly experienced professional.
Whether we’re a small business or a high profile corporation, they can offer strategic marketing services that will promote our business on the Internet.
